At Marwood School, we are proud to offer a range of clubs and enrichment opportunities that help children develop new skills, pursue their interests, keep active, and build friendships beyond the classroom. Our clubs form an important part of school life and support our vision of helping children grow, thrive, and discover their talents.

Autumn Term 1 Clubs

This half term, we are pleased to be offering:

Wraparound Care (Monday to Friday) Providing a safe, welcoming environment before and after school for families who require additional childcare.

Maths Club (Monday) A fun opportunity for children to develop their mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence through engaging activities and challenges (Y6 children).

Cross Country Club (Wednesday) Open to children who enjoy running and staying active. The club helps children build fitness, resilience, and teamwork while preparing for local cross-country events.

Movement Club (Wednesday) A fun and inclusive club focused on physical activity, coordination, movement, and wellbeing through games and structured activities.

Choir (Thursday) An exciting opportunity for children to develop their singing skills, perform together, and build confidence through music.

Looking Ahead

As the year progresses, we hope to introduce additional clubs and activities, including:

• Gardening Club
• Environmental Club
• STEM Club
• Forest School opportunities
• Seasonal and creative clubs
• Other enrichment activities linked to children's interests and staff expertise

At Marwood, we believe clubs play a valuable role in broadening experiences, developing confidence, and helping children discover new passions. We are grateful to our staff and volunteers who give their time to provide these opportunities and look forward to extending our offer throughout the year.
