School Uniform

We encourage all the children at Marwood School to wear out uniform –

· It promotes a sense of pride in our school community.

· It is smart and practical wear for school.

· School uniform helps children feel equal to their peers.

Our uniform consists of:

· White polo shirt/white shirt or blouse

· Grey trousers, shorts or skirt

· Navy blue school jumper/cardigan/sweatshirt with logo

· Black shoes

· Summer uniform – grey tailored shorts or blue & white gingham dress

· Book bag

Please ensure that ALL uniform is clearly named

Foundation, Year 1 & 2 children should have a pair of wellington boots in school every day for their learning time outside.

PE kit (Foundation children only require a PE kit for the Summer term)

· Plain black/navy shorts

· Plain white t-shirt

· Plimsolls or trainers

· Jogging bottoms (navy blue) for cold weather

· Spare socks

· Long hair needs to be tied back for PE

Children can wear uniform without the Marwood School logo, available from high street shops and supermarkets.
